You're invited to tea.

  • 3rd Dec, 2006 at 1:05 AM

I'm throwing a party.

A tea party on Sunday. That's today at 16:00.

I know this isn't much notice. But I haven't had any time. In fact, I'll probably still be cleaning the apartment when you walk in the door.

But it's important to have parties! So you should come. Bring tea or cake or coffee or biscuits. We will sit around and chat and knit and play games.

It will be a fun diversion from the cold outside. I promise!

I would totally come over, if I hadn't already made other socializing plans.

Tea is good!

OK, unlike the rest of these folks, I believe I can actually make it. I had planned on going to the climbing gym, but I think I can get there and back by 16.

What a great idea! Are you going to make these a regular occurence? I can't make it to this one, but I do have a recipe for an Earl Grey pound cake that I'm dying to try - next time for sure!

They already are a regular occurrence. When I'm in town, that is.

Would have liked to attend, but I didn't see your message until just now (just before 20:00). Had to pop in to the office just to check e-mail and read LJ, because my Mac at home has suddenly lost all USB functionality. In to the shop it goes tomorrow :(

Next time!

Good luck with the computer. I know how annoying it is to have a broken one.

Sorry Shannon and I didn't make it -- we were running late, and then realized our winter bikes needed a bit of maintenance before their first ride of the season. We would have been there if we hadn't had to change a few brake pads... perhaps next time.

It's cool.

Though you are terribly brave to bike in the winter.
