It’s so delicious and moist

The most adorable little bakery is just a few blocks from my place. Cocoa Locale bakes some of the best cupcakes and cakes I’ve ever tasted.

Just look at this! Doesn’t it make you want to go there right now?

Seriously, I hate you. I have a chocolate jones on and have had one now for, oh about, three days. I have been doing so well.

Seriously.

You make Montreal sound like the best place ever, as usual. :)

Did you already make a projection of how much weight you anticipate gaining?

When Whole Foods moved a couple blocks from me in California, my grocery bill had doubled. But, um, I was eating way better...

I tried to graph it, but then I got distracted.

Actually, the nicest grocery store around here is Segal’s. Well, by that I mean that it has the cheapest produce that happens to be the most ripe. So if you get there early, you can pick out the best stuff.

That is exactly three blocks from Strato's :-)

I see impromptu visits for no reason other than chocolate mint cake!

She has a lemon olive-oil flavour that's divine. As well as her delicious vanilla chai.

To be fair, I can make something like that in my kitchen if I wasn't lazy as hell today. Those cup-cakes look really fancy but are really easy to make.

However, I'm lazy today, so I'll just try to avoid licking my monitor.

I’m a pretty good baker, so I can make something that looks like this. But I can't get my cakes as moist, nor my frosting as light. They’re magic little cakes.

Hey, that's my wedding cake! Or - wait, cupcake, you said? Yeah, that's definitely smaller. And the petals are more yellow. But other than that it looks *just like* my wedding cake!
