I found out about NoMachine NX today, which appears to be a GPLed X11 compression protocol that works better than LBX. I hope someone gets around to packaging it, my .plan is already full of things I need to package.

In other news, I spontaneously decided to invite people to a dinner party today. So last night, I started cooking Irish beef stew. I'll bake some soda bread this afternoon, and make a bread pudding for desert.

Finally, I've gotten more work done on dvipkps. I'm able to parse dvips's font output now, so all I've got to do is make sure I can autogenerate all the fonts on my system, and then run my little program through some test documents.
