Twenty-two boxes

  • 27th Feb, 2006 at 2:37 AM

I am back from Waterloo, with significantly more storage space at home. However, I'm not at home, I'm at the office.

The train was delayed by about, two and a half hours, which means that everything was closed. Seeing as it feels like a bitter -27°C outside, I walked briskly to the office and let myself in.

I've found the emergency blanket and look forward to using it.

I've mostly succeeded.

It was bloody cold in here though. I didn't realise why until I noticed that someone left a window open.

May the emergency blanket serve you well, as it has served me well in the past.

I've heard that there's these guys in cars that hang out near the train station and if you pay them they'll drive you home. Neat idea. Called a "taxi" apparently.

See, it's the paying part that got to me.

Apparently, the CIBC turns off their card-reading lock at 2:00.
